Angel - Senior Session

This was a hot day around the area of Lakeland, Florida about 3-4 hours away from what I call home. Angel and his family recently moved from Boston. This fall he will start his senior year in high school. As all seniors he was booked to take his school portraits, but we decided to take a different approach. To start Angel on the right track we came up with some fun shots in a street corner by a dry water tunnel. By the end of the afternoon we finished our day with a few shots by the train tracks. Angel is also starting his artistic search as a photographer. In this session I was able to mentor him as we spoke about many things, including how important the photographer's mood is when taking pictures. This is a nice way of giving back to those that have inspired me, by helping others that are interested in this beautiful art of photography.

Congratulations to I.T.A.I.C. Class of 2007!

For two years I was a teacher of this wonderful theology school from where I had graduated 2nd place honors in 2004. I am honored to have been part of this graduating class of 2007, not as a graduate, but as a teacher. This was the 1st class that I had ever taught. I was delighted yet humbled to had been chosen to teach amongst Pastors and Reverends, but that didn't compare to the joy I felt today when I heard the salutatorian say to me "thanks for being my teacher".
